2024 - 2025 Tentative Budget

 Notice is Hereby Given: Pursuant to §5-508 of the Village Law, the tentative budget for the Village of Clyde has been prepared and filed with the Village Clerk-Treasurer at the Village Office, 6 South Park Street, Clyde, New York where it may be inspected by any interested party between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and NOON; 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Except Wednesday 8 a.m. to NOON.) The compensation proposed in said budget for the Mayor is $12,000 and $5,500.00 per year for each trustee.

 Notice is Hereby Given: A public hearing will be held on the 24th April 2024 to take and hear comments relating to the tentative budget as proposed by the Board of Trustees. This public hearing will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Board Room of the Municipal Building, 6 South Park Street.  All persons wishing to be heard on the question of the adoption of the tentative budget will be provided an opportunity to speak and/or comment.

 Estimated 2024-2025 Tax Rate: $14.135852 per $1,000 Assessed Valuation.

 Further Notice is Hereby Given that pursuant to §495 of the NYS Real Property Tax Law effective July 7th, 2008 an exemption listing and “in lieu of tax payment” report for the Village of Clyde will be attached to the Tentative 2024-2025 budget for review.
